Senior Email Marketing Manager

Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States Full-time

Swift Financial provides small businesses with easy and fast access to working capital so they can purchase new equipment, hire new employees, and open new locations. We’re proud that we have helped thousands of business owners to realize their passion and dreams. And now we’re looking for a superstar Senior Email Marketing Manager who will thrive in our distinct culture.

Founded in 2011, Swift has consistently grown its customers and revenue year over year. And we’re just getting started. In addition to providing more than $1 billion in funding to small businesses, we have been recognized by J.D. Power for providing an “Outstanding Customer Service Experience” in the live phone channel. We have also partnered with industry leaders to develop radically new products. Our management team offers a depth of talent coming from the highest ranks of America’s most prestigious technology and financial services companies, including Amazon, American Express, Bank of America and Chase. Because our leadership has led and built great companies, we clearly understand the balance between delivering huge value to our customers, while also delivering unique advantages to our employees. The goal: create a fun, friendly and collaborative environment with amazingly bright, passionate and talented individuals.

Our ideal candidate will bring passion and enthusiasm as well as creativity and a professional attitude (but not too stuffy), and an impressive background of working with senior leaders and helping them drive results.

Department Overview:

Here’s a great opportunity for you to grow with us.  We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven email marketing manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Direct Marketing, you will guide the strategy, planning and execution of this key channel, playing a direct and meaningful role in the continued growth of our company.

As a Senior Marketing Manager at Swift Financial, you will:

  • Lead the strategic development and campaign execution for all email efforts across all products (rules-based, automated drip/nurture communication strategies as well as promotional and transactional campaigns) with a constant focus on optimization to achieve click-through rate, lead, conversion, renewal and other key engagement goals.
  • Establish and maintain a campaign calendar that balances business needs with the growth and inbox reputation of our email database.
  • Project manage the end to end process in collaboration with stakeholder partners. Includes campaign planning, testing and design, campaign build-out through to deployment and reporting, measuring success through detailed data analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on existing and emerging technologies and email best practices; take ownership in troubleshooting and resolving issues with the help of internal or platform provider resources.

The Ideal Candidate will be…

  • A results-obsessed mindset. Measuring everything is second nature for you and you’ll work in conjunction with our Analytics team to establish data-driven processes that produce meaningful, actionable insights
  • Proactive and inquisitive thinking. You’re naturally curious, driven to question, challenge and test your way into new insights and improvements.   You like to learn for learning sake and will stay on top of the latest marketing trends, best practices and technologies
  • An attention to detail. You’ll be in a fast paced, high growth organization and will be able to effectively prioritize the most impactful and important work on your plate.  You’ll also be a stickler for details – broken links and formatting issues drive you crazy.
  • A communicative work style. You’ll thrive working in an open-space work environment with collaborative colleagues; you have no problem effectively communicating across all company levels and teams.

Qualifications for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, CS, economics, preferred)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in email, direct marketing, marketing automation, or CRM roles
  • Direct experience using a major Email Service Provider or CRM platform, Pardot and SalesForce experience preferred
  • Ability to craft or edit compelling email content and templates
  • Successful multivariate and A/B test design and execution
  • Strong organizational skills – able to be self-directed and deliver on deadlines
  • Experience that will put you ahead of the curve:
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience working in the B2B and/or fintech space

What we offer you:

  • An innovative, collaborative workplace, with smart, curious and driven teammates pushing you and cheering you on
  • A positive and empowered culture where you are encouraged to make a difference
  • Ability for advancement within a high-growth financial technology company
  • A fun, bright, open plan office environment ... including break out areas to blow off steam
  • First-rate medical/dental/vision insurance, flex spending plan, disability and life insurance
  • 401k Match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Stock options
  • Flexible vacation and holiday schedule
  • Mobile tools and technology for remote access
  • Fully stocked kitchen with healthy snacks and drinks
  • Friday lunches provided and happy hour
